Experimentally studies the dust-cleaning efficiency of the cartridge filter using the supersonic nozzle developed by the authors and the ordinary nozzle respectively under the same conditions. The results show that with the increase of pulse-jet pressure, at the point 100 mm from the fore-end, the maximum pressure of the cartridge sidewall caused by the pulse-jet airflow of ordinary nozzle increases obviously and is greater than that of the supersonic nozzle under the same conditions, and that as the airflow enters the cartridge further, at the point 900 mm, the maximum pressure caused by the supersonic nozzle is much greater than that of the ordinary nozzle, and that compared to the ordinary nozzle, the supersonic nozzle takes great advantage on dust-cleaning of a long cartridge filter and with the reduction of the throat diameter, the advantage will become more obvious, but the dust-cleaning efficiency at the fore-end of the cartridge filter will decline to some extent.
